Lum Chang Holdings Limited (LCH) has been listed on the Singapore Exchange since 1984. Building firmly on its legacy in construction, LCH has diversified into property development and investment and hotel and serviced residences business. It also diversified into the stockbroking business in 1988 and after a successful 13-year run; it was sold just before the liberalization of the stockbroking industry.
Its hotel and serviced residences business, which started in the 1980s in Thailand and China and expanded in the 1990s to Australia, United Kingdom, Vietnam and Laos, was taken over by L.C. Development Ltd (LC Dev), a listed subsidiary of LCH, in 1999. LC Dev was de-merged from LCH 0n 31 October 2005.
Today, the twin pillars of LCH are property and construction.

The Housing & Development Board (HDB), as the Government’s land sales agent, launched the land parcel at Woodlands Avenue 6 / Woodlands Drive 16 for tender on 23 Aug 2012.
The site has been awarded to Opal Star Pte. Ltd. & Binjai Holdings Pte. Ltd., at the tender price of $150,180,000 on 16 Oct 2012.
The 99-year leasehold site offers a site area of 16,505.40 sq m and a maximum gross floor area (GFA) of 46,215.12 sq m with a gross plot ratio (GPR) of 2.8.
